Just finished radio interview about FBAR stuff

I got a phone call from KPCC this morning.  Would I be on a talk show at 11:26 a.m. to talk about the voluntary disclosure program for offshore bank accounts?  The host is Larry Mantle and his son and my daughter are in school together.  Larry’s a nice guy.  His show is AirTalk. My response to Roger (the producer) when he asked me to be on the show?

  • Do bears . . .?
  • Do sharks . . .?
  • Is the Pope . . .?

The studio is about a mile from my office.  I went over, did the show.  Big fun.  Also on the show was Dean Zerbe (I had met him a few times when I went on the State Bar of California’s Tax Section Annual Pilgrimage to Washington DC to Worship at the Shrine, but he probably doesn’t remember me).  Dean is now Special Counsel at the National Whistleblowers Center.  Also on the show was Asher Rubenstein, an attorney in New York with Rubenstein & Rubenstein.  Thanks guys!

I don’t know how Larry sits through doing three hours of radio every day.  He is energized and engaged the whole time.

The segment should be posted tomorrow on AirTalk’s website.  I will update the blog when it appears.

UPDATE: Here’s the link. You can download the show or stream it.
