Over the last 48 hours I have had four comments about the lack of blog posts. The most recent was an email from Asher Rubenstein.
Thanks. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy ‘n stuff.
The silence has been due to workload. We have a metric ton of innocent foreign bank accounts to protect from the IRS as well as other stuff that we do routinely –foreign trusts, real estate transactions for nonresidents, etc.
Add to that some activity with the California Society of CPAs (a webinar, a speech on foreign trusts at the 2011 Estate and Gift Conference, and the organizing of the 2011 Tax Update and Planning Conference in November). Then throw a trip to Dubai and the end-of-year school stuff for my kids, and you have a busy Phil.
I’m on vacation now, through the 8th. I’m pecking out this post on my BlackBerry.
Anyway, it is gratifying to know there are people out there who read my blog. It is great to hear from you, and I do hear from a lot of you. So thank you.
A lot of stuff for the website is in the pipeline — stuff I’ve been generating for my presentations.
As always, email me, call me, or hit me on Twitter at @philiphodgen.
