Although this article sets the precidence for how IRS agents apply and enforce tax law during an audit, it does little to take out the &#039;human&#039; aspect of the equation.  Everyone knows that it is the person who gets &#039;results&#039; that will be most likely looked at for promotions, raises, etc.  To think that this is not the case is simply ridiculous.  It is the same everywhere, and anyone with the motivation to improve his/her position within an employment situation is going to gear their behavior towards getting &#039;results&#039;.
