Speaking engagements – November, 2009 through February, 2010

Shameless self-promotion.

I’m in front of audiences. A lot.

Here’s my schedule — November, 2009 to February, 2010.

  • November 12, 2009 – Woodland Hills – Foreign Trusts: Opportunities and Pitfalls. This is an all-day course for the California Society of CPAs. (Yeah, that’s last week. Sorry.)
  • November 13, 2009 – Woodland Hills – Foreign Investment in U.S. Real Estate. This is an all-day course for the California Society of CPAs. (Last week again. Sorry. Come to the East Bay in January for the reprise.)
  • November 16, 2009 – Pasadena – Estate and Tax Planning for Multinational Families. This is a one-hour session for the San Gabriel Valley Estate Planning Council.
  • November 23-24, 2009 – San Francisco – 2009 Tax Update and Planning Conference. I am the co-chair of this two-day conference put on by the California Society of CPAs. I will be in San Francisco.
  • December 7-8, 2009 – Costa Mesa and San Francisco – Inbound Tax Planning for Multinational Families. This is for the California Society of CPAs’ annual International Tax Conference. I’m doing a one-hour presentation.
  • January 14, 2010 – East Bay (location TBD) – Foreign Trusts: Opportunities and Pitfalls. This is an all-day course for the California Society of CPAs.
  • January 15, 2010 – East Bay (location TBD) – Foreign Investment in U.S. Real Estate. This is an all-day course for the California Society of CPAs. This one will also be webcast, and theoretically the whole room will be wired up so it is totally interactive with people on the web. Electronic whiteboard. This is a science experiment with the Cal Society and the extremely intrepid John Larkin.
  • February 18, 2010 – Covina – Foreign Account Reporting Issues. This will be a “nuts and bolts” one hour session for CPAs needing help handling international tax items in the tax returns they’ll be preparing during the tax season. East San Gabriel Valley CPA Discussion Group.

I hope to see you at one or more of these events.

Busy, busy, busy. 🙂
